Daniel McDonald, a long time professional racer and promoter of Cycling in California and Founder of DHD Race Promotions and Marketing.

Dan McDonald holds three separate college degrees in Psychology, Business Administration, and Marketing and is a self taught web designer and graphic artist who founded DHD Race Promotions in 1998.

DHD established itself as a promoter and marketing force in the cycling industry. Daniel McDonald then moved to the East Coast where it all started, there were few race venues or MTB lift access in the Northeast, we came in 2001 and changed that with the Ragged Mountain Rush Series, much of the history took off from there. In addition Dan McDonald is a product rep for many industry products for the Cycling industry.

 

Dan McDonald had brought DH racing to New England with a race series to match New York's Plattekill Series.

We have been proud with every opportunity we have been given to consult on today’s current running series, as well as operating the Gravity East MTB Downhill Series.

We continued to play a major role in getting a Multi-Mountain series up and running in 2005. Which was a project and company goal to be that promoter that bridged the gap.

When Dan McDonald created DHD in 1998, our mission was to bring Downhill Mountain Biking, and Freeriding back east, and to provide the best possible venues for racers and spectators alike

We continue to make Gravity racing series attractive to inside and outside sponsorship.

It is sponsorship that drives the MTB race industry.Without the support of Distributors, local bike shops and product manufacturers, promoters like DHD Race Promotions could never been able to bring that type of action and excitement our sport offers.

Sponsors need to know racers and promoters are consumers just the same, and with the right combination of spectator sports and Expo we can attract the non-cycling spectators and Professional racing competitors.

With multiple Mtns on board and willing to support the sport we hope to see our cycling visions continue to explode in the world of Gravity events.
